Tasin Malik has a strong background in operations and production management. They started their career in 2005 as a Shift Supervisor/Plant Engineer at Abengoa Bioenergy, where they provided leadership and training to employees and made improvements to the plant's operations. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Production Manager at MGP Ingredients, where they increased plant throughput and successfully implemented an ERP system. They then joined General Chemical Corp. as a Plant Supervisor from 2009 to 2012, managing a budget and maintaining quality control procedures. At DuPont, from 2012 to 2015, they served as a Production Manager and were responsible for managing employees, creating budgets, and implementing safety systems. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Production Manager at KOCH industries, overseeing operations at an ethanol production facility and leading successful plant turnarounds. Currently, they are working as an Operations Manager at Ascensus Specialties since 2017.
Tasin Malik holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which was completed from St. Ambrose University between 2013 and 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Bradley University from 2002 to 2004. Tasin Malik's undergraduate education was completed at NED University of Engineering and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from 1995 to 2001.
