Mike Prosper

Mike Prosper is the Chief Architect at Ascent Funding. Mike was previously the Co-founder and CTO of Concentrical from January 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were the VP of Product Development at Strada Education Network from January 2018 to December 2020, where they led a team of 100+ across 5 countries and 7 timezones in product management, design, engineering, QA, analytics, and community. Prosper was also part of the product development group that spun out into Concentrical in 2021. Before Strada Education Network, they were the Director of Engineering at InsideTrack from December 2014 to December 2017. At InsideTrack, they built the engineering team from scratch and modernized and technology-enabled every part of the business by creating a web-based omni-channel communications system using Twilio's APIs and building an extremely performant, responsive, and FERPA compliant CRM for coaches. Mike also transformed data operations from Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, SSIS, and Informatica to modern, code-driven ETL pipelines that fed a data warehouse and analytics layer. Lastly, they migrated all legacy operations to AWS, automated CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, and improved automated test coverage of flagship application to 90%.

Mike Prosper's educational career includes a BA in International Economics and Theirtory from the University of California, Los Angeles.
