John Telford

John Telford has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies. John started their career at Vista Chemical Company in 1985, where they worked as a Senior Technical Sales Manager, handling the sales of PVC resin and compounds in different locations. In 1995, they moved on to ICI Surfactants/Uniqema, where they held the positions of Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager. Since 2007, John has been working at Ashland, initially joining as the Head of Direct Procurement. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies, managing a large global spend, and leading a team of professionals. John also had an expatriate assignment in Switzerland from 2016 to 2020. Throughout their career, John has achieved significant savings for their companies and has consistently delivered strong results. John most recently held the positions of Sales Director Specialty Additives, North America, and Director Global Business Development at Ashland.

John Telford pursued their education in a chronological manner. John first attended Rice University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they enrolled in the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business to acquire a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Business Administration.
