Michal Shahal has a diverse work experience spanning over a career of several decades. Michal began their career at Gilat Satellite Networks as a Recruitment Manager, where they successfully managed recruitment and retention programs. Michal then moved on to LaserComm as an HR Manager, where they oversaw staffing, employee relations, and training programs.
Shahal later joined Yazam as a Director of Human Resources, providing HR infrastructure and support to portfolio companies. Michal also played a role in due diligence processes and managed the VC's deal flow. At Voltaire, they served as a Director of Human Resources, focusing on restructuring the organization and aligning it with the company's technical direction.
Michal then worked at Nisha Group as an Area Manager, responsible for marketing services and managing the hiring process for startups. Shahal continued their career at National Semiconductor as a Senior HR Business Partner, where they provided support to design centers across the US, Europe, and Asia. Michal was actively involved in the merger of two startup companies acquired by National.
Shahal joined Dell EMC XtremIO as a VP Global HR, leading all HR activities including staffing, training, compensation, and integration into the corporate after XtremIO's acquisition. Michal later transitioned to EMC as a Senior Director of Human Resources, overseeing HR activities in multiple countries and leading management trainings.
Most recently, Shahal joined Dell as the Global HR Lead-Next Gen Mid Range Storage BU. In this role, they provided HR business support to the executive team and managed the implementation of HR programs tailored to different markets.
Currently, Shahal holds the position of VP Human Resources at Assured Allies, where they bring their extensive HR experience to support the company.
Michal Shahal earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Bar-Ilan University in an unspecified year. Michal further pursued their education at Bar-Ilan University, obtaining a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Organizational Development from 1994 to 1997.
