Anastasia Aksyuk

Anastasia Aksyuk is a highly experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and structural biology, currently serving as a Director at AstraZeneca since August 2020, following roles as Associate Director and Associate Principal Scientist. Prior to AstraZeneca, Anastasia held various positions at MESO SCALE DIAGNOSTICS, LLC, where responsibilities included leading multiple projects related to vaccine and biomarker development. Previous experience also includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on herpesvirus and adenovirus assembly, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Purdue University, where innovative methods for studying bacteriophage structure and function were developed. Anastasia earned a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from Purdue University and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
