Daniel Twigt

Daniel Twigt is an experienced project manager currently working at ATG Europe in the R&D branch, ATG-Engineering, since October 2022. Previously, Daniel served as a coastal forecaster at Rijkswaterstaat from September 2017 to September 2022, where responsibilities included issuing forecasts for water levels along the Dutch coastline to support flood management decisions. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Deltares from January 2008 to September 2022, starting as an advisor and advancing to senior advisor, focusing on the development of coastal forecasting systems and metocean forecasting services for the offshore wind industry. Early in the career, Daniel was a junior advisor at WL | Delft Hydraulics, specializing in integrating remote sensing data with numerical models. Daniel earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 1999 and 2006.
