Soraya Kazziha

Soraya Kazziha has a strong background in finance and management, with significant experience in various roles at top financial institutions. Soraya currently holds the position of Group Head of Balance Sheet Management & Corporate Finance at Athora since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PIMCO from 2012 to 2023, where they held several roles such as Head EMEA Client Solutions & Analytics, Global Head Insurance Solutions, and Executive Vice President - Head of EMEA Client Analytics. Before joining PIMCO, they were a Managing Director - Head of European Rates Structuring at Credit Suisse Investment Bank from 2006 to 2011, and a Director at Citi from 2005 to 2006. Soraya started their career at JPMorgan in 1999, where they served as a VP.

Soraya Kazziha completed their education in a chronological order. Soraya started their academic journey in 1992 by enrolling at CentraleSupélec. There, they pursued a combined program, earning a Diplôme d'Ingénieur Grande École along with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. This phase of their education lasted until 1995.

Following their time at CentraleSupélec, Soraya continued their studies at Imperial College London. From 1995 to 1998, they focused on Mathematical Finance and obtained a PhD degree in this field.
