M. Alan Villarreal has a diverse work experience history. M. Alan started their career at AME Unmanned Air Systems in 2004, where they held different roles such as Engineer, Program Manager, and Integrated Product Team Lead. M. Alan then moved on to Survivor Insurance, where they co-founded the company and worked as a Co-founder. Later, they joined Atlas Copco as a Project Manager and eventually transitioned to the role of Project Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Research and Development Team Lead at Atlas Copco.

M. Alan Villarreal has a strong educational background. M. Alan obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2012. During the same period, they also earned a Master of Science degree in the Engineering Management Program from the same institution. In 2012, they pursued further studies at MIP Politecnico di Milano, where they completed a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Elective Courses.
