Thanos Gatos

Thanos Gatos has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and science. Thanos is currently working as a Team Lead in Data and Analytics Platform at Atlas Copco. Prior to that, they had their own consultancy firm called Gatos Consulting, where they worked as a Freelance Data Scientist, Managing Director, and Co-founder. Thanos also has experience as a Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist at Cnext, as well as a Senior Data Science Consultant at VeroTech. Thanos has also worked as a Data Scientist at ArcelorMittal Belgium, Dana Incorporated, and Bosch. Additionally, they have experience as a Co-founder at Spitaki Homemade Breakfast and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Koç University. Thanos began their career as a Data Analyst in Logistics at Agrotech S.A.

Thanos Gatos has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Thanos also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management from Koç University, but the program was discontinued. Additionally, they completed a Leadership Transition Program from Vlerick Business School. Thanos Gatos has obtained various certifications in data science and programming from DataCamp, including courses in Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation.
