Manik Garg

Manik Garg is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and security engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Security GRC Engineer at Atlassian since May 2024, Manik previously held the role of Compliance Product Owner at Adobe, where major achievements included establishing a global compliance program and creating a Common Controls Framework that significantly reduced compliance fatigue. Earlier roles include Auditor II and Auditor at VMware, where implementation of zero trust architecture controls and internal audits for ISO compliance were key responsibilities. Manik began the career as a Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador and gained practical experience as an Enterprise Risk Management Intern at Max Life Insurance and as Program Manager for Embedded Systems Development at Smart Joules Pvt. Ltd. Notably, Manik holds an Advanced Cyber Security Program certification from Stanford University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Cyber Security from UPES.
