Corporate Director - Continuous Improvement at ATS Automation

Nour Shaker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2003, they completed an internship at KPMG before moving on to work as a Senior Financial and Operational Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, Shaker became the Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager at UNIPAT, an industrial packaging manufacturing company, where they worked until 2014. From 2015 to 2017, Shaker served as a Lean Manufacturing/Logistics Specialist at MAGNA INTERNATIONAL, LLC. They then joined IDEX Health & Science, LLC in 2017 as the Continuous Improvement Manager for the MPT Segment until 2021. Shaker's most recent experience is at Conestoga College, where they have been an Educator for Lean Operations/Supply Chain Management since December 2019. Currently, Shaker holds the position of Corporate Director - Continuous Improvement at ATS Automation, starting in May 2021.

Nour Shaker obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Magna Cum Laude Honored from the American University of Sharjah in 2004. In 2007, they became a Public Accountant through the ACCA. They then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at the German Jordanian University from 2012 to 2013. In 2015, Nour Shaker obtained an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Manufacturing Management from Sheridan College. They also received certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2014, Certified Lean Practitioner from the Shingo Institute in 2015, and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in 2019. From 2017 to 2020, Nour Shaker pursued a Master's in Applied Science in Operations Management and Research at the University of Waterloo.
