Daniel Benavidez

Daniel Benavidez is an experienced pastry chef currently working at AT&T Hotel and Conference Center since October 2022. Previously, Daniel held the position of Executive Pastry Sous Chef at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2020 to October 2022. Prior roles include Pastry Sous Chef, Pastry Supervisor, and Pastry Cook at Omni Austin Downtown Hotel from April 2011 to August 2020. Daniel began the culinary career as a Pastry Cook at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center from July 2005 to August 2009. Daniel earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Texas State University from 2009 to 2011 and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Galveston College from 2005 to 2007.
