Cass Horton

Cass Horton has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Lead - Cybersecurity Platform Architect at AT&T since May 2001. In this role, Cass architects Managed Network Security Solutions, focusing on Network Firewall, SASE, and hybrid/cloud initiatives. Previously, Cass held the position of Senior Technical Director, where leadership was provided to a team of twelve security engineers, enhancing program visibility and collaboration through Agile methodologies. As a founding member and Principal of Technical Security, Cass contributed significantly to the development of the Secure Network Gateway. Earlier career roles include Unix Security Engineer at Pilot Network Services and Senior Systems Administrator at AppliedTheory, with foundational experience as a System Administrator at Pacific Bell Internet. Cass holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with an option in Organizational Leadership from California State University - East Bay.
