Peter Donnelly

Director of Products at ATTO Technology, Inc.

Peter Donnelly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Peter began their career in the United States Navy, serving as a Lieutenant from 1989 to 1993.

After their military service, Peter joined ATTO Technology as a Product Manager in 1998. Over the course of seven years, they assumed roles such as OEM Sales Representative and successfully managed the life cycle and profitability of host adapter and software products. Peter also played an active role in industry associations and trade shows.

In 2005, Peter joined Multisorb Technologies as a Marketing Manager. Peter established a Global Marketing Department and implemented various branding and marketing initiatives, including product introductions and a $750K annual marketing program.

From 2007 to 2011, Peter worked as a Brand Manager at Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics. Peter led the development of brand, product, and market strategies for retail building materials product lines in North and Latin America. Peter also played a key role in joint venture and acquisition activities, including a $50M acquisition.

Returning to ATTO Technology in 2011, Peter held multiple positions, starting as a Product Manager and eventually becoming the Manager of the Products Group. In these roles, they led the product development efforts, defined market needs, and achieved profitable growth through innovative storage connectivity products. Peter also directed the activities of the product management team and worked closely with development teams to realize high-value and strategically important projects.

As the Director of Products at ATTO Technology since July 2019, Peter has spearheaded the strategic technology direction of the product portfolio. Peter has actively coordinated with the CTO and Executive Team to align product development objectives with corporate goals. Peter has also continued to lead development teams and ensure the successful execution of Agile-based projects.

Peter Donnelly has a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Peter also has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Bonaventure University, which they completed from 1998 to 2000. In addition, Peter has a Master's degree in Pastoral Ministry from Christ the King Seminary, which they pursued between 2011 and 2015. Peter completed their high school education in the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute from 1981 to 1985.

To enhance their skills and knowledge, Peter has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they achieved the Pragmatic Marketing Certified (PMC-II) certification from Pragmatic Marketing. Prior to that, they completed The Effective Negotiating Course from KARRASS™ Effective Negotiating in 2006. Additionally, Peter has attended the Basic Project Management: Planning, Scheduling and Control course offered by the American Management Association in 1994. Peter also completed the ISO Internal Auditor Training Course provided by Quality Management Solutions in the same year.
