Shawn Shavor Sr

Shawn Shavor Sr has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shawn is currently employed as the Director of Facilities at Audubon Nature Institute, where they have been working since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Plant Operations at AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington from March 2021 to November 2022. Shawn also worked as an Electrical Instructor at Fletcher Technical Community College from August 2020 to November 2022. Before that, Shawn had an extensive tenure as the Plant Operations Director at AMG specialty hospital from September 2017 to November 2022. Shawn also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Conrad Industries, Marine Superintendent at Signet Maritime Corporation, and Sr Electrical Technician/Manager at Harvey Gulf International Marine. In addition, Shawn has managerial and estimating experience in the electrical field, having served in roles such as Commercial, Marine, Industrial Electrical Manager/Estimator/Purchasing at Barracuda Electric and Operations Manager at Marine Electric LLC. Furthermore, they owned Absolute Electrical Services, LLC from May 1998 to December 2005. Throughout their career, Shawn has acquired certifications in various areas, including FEMA, CIHQ, Joint Commission, DHH, and NFPA, and they are also a Master Electrician by trade.

Shawn Shavor Sr attended San Jacinto College from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 1995, they also earned a Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from Harcourt Learning Center. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1992, they completed their General Studies at H. L. Bourgeois.
