Paulo Carvalho

Paulo Carvalho is Vice President, Technical Operations, at Aura. Before joining Aura in 2021, Mr. Carvalho served as Vice President, Manufacturing Operations, at Quanterix where he oversaw the management and long-range strategic planning of facilities, manufacturing, quality control, supply chain, and equipment engineering and safety. He also previously served as Associate Director, Manufacturing Technical Service, at Alnylam where he led the technical team responsible for commercial and clinical drug product supply. Earlier in his career, Mr. Carvalho held senior manufacturing roles at Shire Human Genetic Therapies, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and Genzyme Corporation. Mr. Carvalho received his B.A. in biology from Boston University.
