David Rogers

David Rogers has extensive work experience, primarily in the financial services industry. David most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Auros, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Services Consultant at 23rd Parallel Consulting | Quinlan & Associates from 2020 to 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, David held the role of Managing Director and Head of Trading, Asia-Pacific at State Street Global Advisors. Before that, they were employed at Fidelity Investments from 2012 to 2016, where they focused on Program & Electronic Trading, Market Structure, and Platforms.

David also has experience with Deutsche Bank, where they worked as the Director and Head of Asia Portfolio Sales and Trading from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they held various executive roles at UBS, including Executive Director and Head of APAC Portfolio Trading, Executive Director and Head of International Portfolio Trading in Japan, and Director of Global Portfolio Trading.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Salestrader in Global Portfolio Trading at Instinet Incorporated from 2002 to 2004. David also spent time at Goldman Sachs as a Salestrader in Global Portfolio Trading from 2000 to 2002.

David's work experience began with a summer internship and research thesis at Williams Racing in 1999.

David Rogers pursued their higher education starting from 1995 to 1998 at the University of Reading, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, from 1998 to 1999, they attended Cranfield University and acquired a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Automotive Product Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, David obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, which they achieved in January 2016, and the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits, attained in September 2013. Furthermore, David obtained the Responsible Officer Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 2 (Dealing in Futures), and Type 9 (Asset Management) certification from the Securities and Futures Commission in September 2009.
