Matthew Baldree

Matthew Baldree has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Matthew is currently working as the Director of Research MLOps & Governance at AuthenticID since April 2021. Before that, they worked as the Co-Founder of Marcoma Realty Inc. starting from August 2006.

Matthew also has experience working at IDEMIA, where they held multiple roles. From October 2016 to March 2021, they served as the VP and Chief Technologist. Prior to that, they were the VP of Technology (Acting) from March 2015 to September 2016, and the Chief Engineer and Senior Director of Engineering from February 2012 to March 2015.

Before their time at IDEMIA, Matthew worked at HCA | HealthTrust Purchasing Group as the AVP of Technology Innovation GPO Services from July 2009 to April 2011, and as a Senior Principal Software Architect and Senior Software Architect from February 2003 to July 2009. Matthew also had a role as a Software Architect at Sprint Nextel from March 2001 to September 2002.

Earlier in their career, Matthew was the Lead Software Engineer at Chatfish, Inc. from September 1999 to July 2001. Matthew also worked at ESI Inc. of Tennessee as the Manager of Non-Project Operations, IT Manager, and Senior Software Engineer from September 1993 to September 1999. Lastly, Matthew started their career as a Structural Engineer and Engineer Intern at Haines Gipson and Associates from October 1988 to September 1993.

Matthew Baldree has a diverse education history. Matthew obtained a Master's Degree in Data Science from Southern Methodist University in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Executive Development Institute from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Additionally, they hold a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University, which they completed in 1995. Matthew also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology with Structures from Kennesaw State University in 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew Baldree has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Some notable certifications include: Practical Data Science Specialization from Coursera (obtained in August 2021), AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (obtained in May 2020), Apache Hadoop Developer from Cloudera (obtained in January 2012), and Java2 Programmer / Developer / Architect from Sun (obtained in January 2000). Matthew also holds a Certificate of Architecture from SEI at Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained in January 2006. Additionally, they obtained an Engineer In Training certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in July 1991 and a True Colors Facilitator certification from True Colors in December 2011.
