Sapna H. has extensive work experience in the healthcare and clinical research industry. Sapna is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Avania since January 2019. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Chiltern, including Executive Vice President of Operations for Medical Device & Diagnostics from February 2016 to June 2018, and Vice President of Medical Device from September 2015 to February 2016. Before joining Chiltern, they worked at Theorem Clinical Research where they held positions such as Vice President of Medical Device Clinical Development from April 2013 to September 2015, Executive Director of Clinical Development for Medical Device from January 2012 to March 2013, and various roles in business development from June 2011 to June 2012. Sapna also worked at Clinimetrics as an Associate Director and Senior Manager of Business Development from October 2007 to September 2008 and September 2005 to September 2007, respectively.

Sapna began their educational journey in 1990 at the University of Pittsburgh where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Business, which they successfully completed in 1995. Sapna then went on to pursue further education at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 2001 to 2005. During this period, Sapna earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Information Systems. Simultaneously, they also completed an MBA degree from the same institution. Finally, in 2015 to 2016, Sapna attended Arizona State University, where they achieved a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Diagnostics.
