Yolanda Becker

Yolanda Becker is a Professor of Surgery and Medical Education at TCU School of Medicine, where responsibilities include directing Career and Professional Development since June 2022. Additionally, Yolanda serves as a consultant for Transplant Solutions, LLC. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the University of Chicago as Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Surgery, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and developing Transplant Institute policy. Yolanda has held leadership roles including UNOS President and Education Committee Chair for the American Society of Transplant. Previous positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison involved directing both the Clinical Curriculum and the Surgery Clerkship. Yolanda completed a Transplant Surgery Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds an MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
