Peter McNamara

Peter McNamara, FCAS, MAAA has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. Peter began their career at AIG in 2003 as an Actuarial Analyst, where they worked for seven years. In 2010, they joined AXIS Capital, where they have held various roles of increasing responsibility. These roles include Assistant Vice President, Vice President and Reserving Actuary, Senior Vice President and Reinsurance Chief Reserving Actuary, Senior Vice President and Head of Reinsurance Pricing, and currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President and Group Chief Reserving Actuary. Their expertise spans reserving, reinsurance pricing, and leadership.

Peter McNamara, FCAS, MAAA obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Economics and Mathematics from Cornell University in 2003.
