Maureen Fahy

Maureen Fahy has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Maureen started their career at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Casualty Claims Adjuster before moving on to Home Insurance Company, where they worked as a Sr Claims Specialist and Casualty Underwriter for eight years. Maureen then joined Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. as a Casualty Fac Underwriter for five years. Maureen later worked at Everest Reinsurance as an Automatic Facultative Co-Ordinator and Direct Treaty Marketing professional. During their time at TIG Specialty Group/ Fairfax Financial, Maureen served as Vice President, overseeing marketing, underwriting, and management of a significant portfolio of SIR Primary and Excess E&S Casualty business. Maureen then joined XL Catlin as an Assistant Director of Casualty and subsequently joined Aspen Insurance Group as a Vice President in the Casualty division. Currently, Maureen is employed at AXIS Capital as a Lead Underwriter for US Primary Casualty.

Maureen Fahy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Mount St. Mary's University in the years 1974 to 1978. Maureen also has a certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, but the details regarding the institution and year of obtaining this certification are not available.
