Sidney Chang

Sidney Chang has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Starting in 2002, Sidney worked as a Senior Power Scheduler at Constellation NewEnergy before moving on to roles as a Trader/Senior Power Scheduler at Select Energy of Northeast Utilities and a Procurement Buyer at Northeast Utilities. In 2006, Sidney joined Noble Environmental Power as the Director of Energy Markets, where they successfully secured several high-value contracts and implemented wind power generation operations. Sidney then transitioned to Enel Green Power North America as an Energy Management Supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day operations of wind and hydro generation facilities. In 2014, Sidney joined Sempra Renewables as an Origination Manager, marketing utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects. At ENGIE North America Inc., Sidney served as the Director of Origination for Renewable Energy from 2018 to 2022, leading successful negotiations and securing a significant portion of ENGIE's renewable PPAs. Most recently, Sidney held the position of Vice President of Origination at Balanced Rock Power and is currently serving in the same role at Aypa Power. Additionally, Sidney has experience as the Owner and Photographer at Sidney Chang Photography from 2009 to 2013.

Sidney Chang attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1995 to 2000. The degree and field of study are unknown. Prior to that, Sidney attended Agnes Irwin without specifying the start and end years.
