James Mole McConnell has extensive experience in design and user experience (UX). James Mole most recently worked at Azets as the Head of Design, and later also served as the Acting Managing Director. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of UX & Behavioural Design at Doconomy, where they were responsible for the experience of all products and implemented a strategy for behavioral design. James has also worked as a Principal Lead Design Practices at IFS, Associate Director of Experience Consulting at PwC New Zealand, and Head of Design at Catch Design. James Mole has experience leading and assisting in various design projects, including project definition, strategy, research, and customer needs definition. James has also mentored and coached teams of UX designers, developed design capabilities, and implemented new methodologies. James Mole has a strong background in user-centered design and has been involved in increasing brand value and awareness around this approach. James has also served as a steering committee member at Hyper Island, where they provided industry advice for the Design lead course.
