Shaunty Rashidi

Shaunty Rashidi is a seasoned software engineer and educational consultant with extensive experience in software development and technology. As the Founding Software Engineer at Balance Now since July 2020, Shaunty has led the Agile development of a Ruby on Rails web application focusing on diversity data, successfully managing the software development lifecycle and implementing various features through collaboration with UX/UI teams. Prior experience includes serving as an educational consultant for the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United States, providing support for community educational initiatives, as well as various technology roles, such as Tech Support Team Member at Control Panel Solutions, Inc., and Technology Assistant at Lapwai School District. Shaunty's background in education includes teaching secondary mathematics in the San Diego Unified School District. Shaunty holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and two bachelor's degrees in Software Development and Mathematics from Western Governors University and UC San Diego, respectively.
