Cristian Grigoras

Cristian Grigoras, Ph.D., is an experienced project manager and scientist with a strong background in microencapsulation technologies, coatings chemistry, and polymer science. Currently at Balchem Corporation since December 2020, Cristian focuses on developing innovative solutions for global health and nutritional needs. Prior to this role, Cristian served as a senior scientist at Benjamin Moore & Co., addressing challenges in the coatings industry through novel polymeric dispersions. Cristian's earlier experience includes significant contributions at Ashland Specialty Ingredients and Kemira Water Solutions, where both research and development efforts targeted various applications from personal care to water management. Cristian's academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Organic and Polymer Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, following a Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the Technical University of Iasi.
