Charles D. Jackson

Charles D. Jackson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Charles D. is currently working as the Health Equity Director at the Baltimore City Health Department, where they oversee the development and implementation of equity assessment strategies and works to ensure an inclusive and diverse workforce. In the past, they have worked as an Equity & Inclusion Practitioner/Diversity Speaker-Trainer-Coach, a teacher at MERIT (Medical Education Resources Initiative for Teens), a community organizer at Family League of Baltimore, a community outreach consultant at The Steve Fund, a program manager at Morgan State University, a program development manager at NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF BLACK COUNTY OFFICIALS, INC., an African American outreach specialist at HMA Associates, a community outreach coordinator at Access to Wholistic and Productive Living Inc, and a partnership development manager at the American Cancer Society.

Charles D. Jackson obtained a BA degree in Psychology from Emmanuel College (Boston) from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they also completed the Diversity Practitioner Certification Program at the NTL Institute. In 2013, they earned a Certificate from the Satcher Health Leadership Institute Community Health Leadership Program at Morehouse School of Medicine. Additionally, they have obtained additional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace, MBTI, Microsoft Planner Essential Training, and Adobe Connect Essential Training from various institutions.
