Alexis Bizimana

Alexis Bizimana is an experienced professional in agribusiness and finance, currently serving as the Head of Agribusiness at Bank of Kigali Plc since January 2023. Prior to this role, Alexis worked as an Access to Finance Advisor at Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) from December 2017 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing training programs and facilitating access to financial services for agricultural actors. Alexis's extensive background in the banking sector includes positions at KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd, where the focus was on agribusiness segment development and relationship management, and earlier roles at the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources in Rwanda, which involved monitoring and evaluation and coordination of agricultural finance strategies. Alexis holds multiple degrees, including a MicroMasters from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Kigali.
