Jonathan Gould

Jonathan Gould has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonathan is currently working as the SVP / Head of Recruitment at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition, International at Allergan Aesthetics. Before Allergan Aesthetics, Jonathan worked at AbbVie, where they held various roles, including Head of Talent Acquisition for MEA, Russia, Canada, and EEMEA in the Aesthetics division.

Jonathan also took a sabbatical in 2020 to focus on personal interests and development. During this time, they completed various courses and gained skills in personal interest areas such as the Polish language, fine wine, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and surfing. Prior to their sabbatical, Jonathan worked at SITA as the Talent Acquisition Director and Global Head of Talent Acquisition.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in MENA. Jonathan also had a successful tenure at Morgan McKinley as a Recruitment Manager, specializing in the financial services sector. Jonathan started their career at Auckland Council as a Manager and Senior Ranger in the Recreation & Education Portfolio, where they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing various projects related to the protection and use of Auckland's natural environment.

Jonathan Gould obtained their Bachelor of Business Studies degree in Tourism from Massey University in 2000. Jonathan then earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their high school education, first at Taupo Nui A Tia College from 1992 to 1993, and then at Tereora College from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained various certifications in areas such as talent management, strategic workforce planning, and design thinking from institutions like LinkedIn and Scrum Alliance in 2021. Jonathan has also received test user certifications from The British Psychological Society and EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists' Associations).
