Dan Hiris

Dan Hiris has been working in the IT industry since 1995. Dan started their career as an IT Support at ADETIM, then moved to System & Network Administrator at EarthLink Business (RMI.NET/InternetNow! Acquisition). In 1998, they joined Honeywell as an Enterprise Architect and Web Administrator. From 2013 to 2018, Dan worked as a DevOps Engineer and Senior DevOps Engineer at US Foods. Afterwards, they became a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at NortonLifeLock. Currently, Dan is a Staff Engineer at Banyan Security.

Dan Hiris completed their high school education at Nikolaus Lenau Lyzeum in 1996, majoring in Math/Physics. From 1996 to 1997, they attended Universitatea “Politehnica” din Timișoara to study Robotics Engineering. From 2000 to 2001, they took a Six Sigma course at Honeywell. In 2013, they obtained an ITIL v3 Certification in Operations Management from ITIL. Currently, they are taking a Public Speaking course at Toastmasters. Additionally, they have obtained an ITIL certification from Six Sigma.
