James Williams

James Williams has a long and varied career in technology. James began their career in 2000 as a Network Engineer at NonStopNet, followed by a Sr. Network Engineer position at NABI Networks. In 2001, they took a job as a Systems Admin/Developer at EPI Solutions, followed by a Network Systems Admin job at Pacific Maritime Association. In 2002, they became Owner of Infinity Creative and a Sr. Network Administrator at Silicon Connections. From 2010 to 2017, they held various roles at VMware, including R&D/SR. MTS/Virtual Datacenter Services (VDCS), R&D/SR. MTS/Big Data, Application Storage, and R&D/MTS/Cloud Management, Automation & Security. In 2017, they became Co-founder and CTO of DOTT The Smart Dog Tag and in 2018, they became Founding Engineer at Banyan Security.

James Williams is self-taught, and holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco, Scrum Alliance, and VMware. James'smost recent certification is AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, which they obtained in February 2020.
