Laura Scobie has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Laura started their career as the Owner/Principal of The Perfect Game from 1997 to 1999. Laura then moved on to become an Account Director - Strategy at Bozell (Interpublic Group) from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they joined Barkley as the Director of Planning from 2003 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Group Planning Director at Carmichael Lynch. Laura then transitioned to Fallon, where they served as a Group Planning Director from 2010 to 2012. Laura further expanded their skills as a Chief Strategy Officer at Bernstein-Rein Advertising in 2012. During their time there, they successfully led strategic planning for various clients and secured significant new clientele. In 2013, Laura joined H&R Block as the Vice President - Insights, Brand & Corporate Strategy, where they played a crucial role in designing the company's first consumer-facing change to service business. Laura also created strategies that led to significant revenue generation and client acquisition. Finally, Laura is currently employed at Barkley as the SVP Strategy, a role they have held since 2020.

Laura Scobie attended Stanford University (Hasso Plattner) Institute of Design in 2015, where they participated in a Design Thinking Boot Camp. In 2006, they completed a Boot Camp for Account Planning at Miami Ad School (M.AD School). Laura Scobie also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas, although the specific dates for this degree are not provided.
