Marcia Alonzo

Marcia Alonzo is the Country Manager for US & VP of Sales at Basware. Marcia has over twenty years of experience in sales and sales management, with a focus on the telecommunications industry.

Marcia began their career in sales with Americatel Corporation in 1998. Marcia quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Senior Sales Manager at IMPSAT USA in 2003. In 2004, they joined Telmex USA, LLC as a Senior Account Manager. During their six years with the company, they were promoted to Regional Sales Director for the Southern Region.

In 2010, Marcia left Telmex to join Claro Enterprise Solutions as Vice President of Global Sales. Marcia held this position for just over a year before being promoted to VP, Regional Sales in 2018. Marcia remained in this role until August 2019 when they were appointed as Country Manager for US & VP of Sales at Basware.

Marcia Alonzo has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Universidad APEC (Asociacion Pro-Educacion & Cultura). Marcia is currently working in the field of marketing.
