Joshua J Troutwine, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Joshua started their career at Preservation Partners, Inc as a Human Resources Consultant where they worked until 2006. After that, they joined MainSource Bank as a Human Resources Generalist from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a Human Resources Business Consultant, where they excelled in various areas including HR consultation, learning and development, compensation, and associate relations. Since 2012, they have been working at Batesville (a division of Hillenbrand, Inc) in multiple roles within the HR job family. These roles include Director of Human Resources (SG&A) and Manager of Human Resources, among others. Throughout their career, Joshua has demonstrated their expertise in strategic business partnering, talent development, performance management, and organizational design.

Joshua J Troutwine, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Purdue University in 2002. Joshua then went on to earn their Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School in 2005. Joshua continued their education at The Chicago School, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Psychology in 2016. In addition to their academic achievements, Joshua has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including being a Certified GROW coach and a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR). Joshua is also certified in the 5 Choices by FRANKLIN COVEY CO and holds the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.
