Leslie Park Overad, MS-MA, has a diverse work experience in the field of business and communications. Leslie has worked at Idaho National Laboratory where they served as a Business and Communications role, specializing in outreach and communication for the promotion of bioenergy technology adoption. Leslie also worked as an Information Management and Business Systems Lead for the Bioenergy Program, where they coordinated communication-related projects, supported business development activities, and facilitated proposal development. Additionally, Leslie has been involved in the DOE's Lab-Corps program, which focuses on bridging the gap between national laboratory researchers and the commercial marketplace. Leslie has also held roles in research communications and business at Energy and Environment Science and Technology, and served as a contractor for the Bioenergy Technologies Office at the Department of Energy. Throughout their career, Leslie has been involved in various aspects of communication, outreach, business development, and project support related to renewable energy.
Leslie Park Ovard, MS-MA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in English Environmental Science from Lewis-Clark State College in 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in English from Idaho State University, completed in 2006. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho in 2017.
