Jeremiah Schley

Jeremiah Schley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jeremiah began their career at Eaton as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern, where they developed a rapid early responder system and engaged in spill containment and monitoring. Jeremiah then worked as a Non-destructive Technician at the Non-destructive Testing Group, managing piping and instrumentation analysis and conducting ultrasound and ground penetrating radar investigations.

Schley also worked as a Technology Analyst at Molargraft, assessing stem cell technology and assisting with business plan development. Jeremiah later joined the TEC Institute at The Ohio State University as a Technology Analyst, and then served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Dr. ChiChih Chen Group.

At The Ohio State University's Dr. Derek Hansford Research Group, Schley worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, and at Metro High School, they were a Teaching Fellow, integrating new technologies and engineering concepts into lesson plans.

Schley also gained experience at ProteoSense, LLC as an Independent Contractor, and at Battelle, where they held multiple roles including Principal Research Scientist, Principal Investigator, and Cyber Embedded Systems Engineer III.

Lastly, Schley worked at the ElectroScience Laboratory as a Research Scientist, focusing on the fabrication and design of RF antenna systems. Their accomplishments include serving as a lead fabrication engineer and assessing designs for manufacturing constraints.

Jeremiah Schley earned a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Physics from The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2008. Jeremiah then pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from 2008 to 2011. Jeremiah's educational journey culminated in a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering, which they completed at The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2013.
