Tech Transfer Scientist at Bavarian Nordic

Malene Winther has a diverse work experience in the scientific and research field. Malene started their career as a Master student at The Protein Laboratory, Department of Neuroscience and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen, where they studied Cell Adhesion Molecules NCAM2 and FLRT3. After completing their master's degree, they joined The Phagocyte research group, Dept of Rheumatology and Inflammation Research as a Ph.D student, where they worked from March 2013 to May 2017. Following that, Malene joined Novo Nordisk in September 2018 as a Process Support, a role they held until December 2021. Most recently, they joined Bavarian Nordic in December 2021 as a Tech transfer scientist.

Malene Winther's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Gentofte HF for two years. It is unknown whether they obtained a degree or focused on a specific field of study during this time. From 2005 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Copenhagen. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same institution from 2010 to 2012, earning a Cand.scient (M.Sc.) in Biology. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, Malene Winther attended the University of Gothenburg, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a specialization in Medicine - immunology.
