Stanley Chang has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Stanley has held positions in BC Financial Services Authority, where they served as the Director of Business Process Management and Director Product Owner, overseeing the delivery of system solutions and business integration. Stanley Chang holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Athabasca University, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Centro Escolar University, completing it from 1985 to 1988.

In addition to their academic achievements, Stanley Chang has obtained several certifications. In 1997, they became a Certified General Accountant from the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia (CGA-BC). In 1999, they obtained the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC). Later, in 2008, they acquired the Certified Information Systems Auditor certification from ISACA.
