Chris Illman Miema

Chris Illman MIEMA, CEnv has a diverse work history in sustainability and environmental management. Chris'smost recent position was as the Head of Responsible Business at Beazley, a role they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Sustainability Officer at Beazley starting in 2020.

Before joining Beazley, Chris worked at Great Western Railway (GWR) from 2015 to 2020. Chris started as an Energy Manager and later became the Acting Head of Sustainability in December 2017.

From 2010 to 2015, Chris worked at Waterman Environmental, where they held the roles of Principal Sustainability Consultant and Senior Sustainability Consultant. Before that, they were at Energist UK from 2008 to 2010, serving as the Commercial & BREEAM Team Leader.
