Nelson Suero Nin

Nelson Suero Nin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nelson began their career as an Accounting Intern at General Shoes Republica Dominicana in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Event Coordinator and Trip Leader at I Love Travel!, gaining experience in event management. Nelson then transitioned to a role as a Bookkeeping Specialist at CU*Answers in 2016.

In 2017, Nelson joined Big Dutchman as an International Accounting Associate, where they contributed to international accounting activities. Nelson then moved on to Horton's Kids, Inc. in 2019, starting as a Finance & Administrative Manager. In this role, they managed corporate accounting functions, prepared budgets, and maintained financial processes. Nelson later advanced to the position of Sr. Finance & Administrative Manager at Horton's Kids, overseeing restricted grants, tracking receipts, and supporting budget preparations.

Nelson's most recent work experience is with Climate Policy Initiative, where they currently serve as the Grants Finance Manager. This role involves managing grants finance and ensuring effective financial management for the organization.

Nelson Suero Nin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, in April 2015, they also obtained the International Tennis Federation PLAY TENNIS Certificate from the International Tennis Federation.
