Vahid Abdollahi

Vahid Abdollahi is a seasoned expert in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied AI Scientist at Bentley Systems since July 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior AI/ML Developer at AI Redefined, where Vahid developed an operational decision-making system for power trading and a machine learning pipeline for anomaly detection. Vahid's tenure at Maya HTT included significant contributions to predicting transient thermal dynamics and real-time large-scale thermal physics using advanced modeling techniques. Vahid initiated a career as a Research Assistant at CFD Lab, McGill University, tackling high-performance computing challenges and developing parallel CFD codes. Earlier work at Ofogh Fanavary involved leading engineering teams and contributing to projects that enhanced boiler efficiency and reduced operating costs. Vahid holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and possesses additional degrees from the University of Tehran.
