Job purpose
In the role of an Account Manager, you will support our key accounts driving value from using beqom’s Cloud solution and consulting/services teams to accelerate Customer Engagement and Experience. The goal is to further strengthen our strategic partnership with this customer and to contribute to sustaining and growing the business to achieve long-term success and mutual satisfaction. As part of this, you will be nurturing existing and building new relationships with the customer and serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including C-level executives.
You will drive the process of renewing existing business as well as continuously bringing innovative solutions to the customer to help them meet their objectives. To do so, you will be working closely with cross-functional and organisational teams who are all aligned towards Customer Success.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage the global relationship between beqom and the account with the goal of remaining a valuable and trusted provider for the long term;
Be accountable for developing assigned accounts and further grow beqom’s footprint and vision;
Manage and achieve sales objectives on assigned accounts;
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, advance them through the stages and negotiate to close;
Actively nurture relationships with multiple management layers of key stakeholders across various departments, such as HR, Sales, Finance, IT, and procurement, and develop new ones as needed;
Serve as the ambassador for your customer within beqom by focusing on their needs and doing the right thing for them;
Protect existing business through robust daily account management, a strong focus on operational excellence, and a passion for understanding and supporting your customer’s business and IT goals
Work closely with Customer Success, Delivery, and Product teams to bring innovative ideas to your customer and articulate complex value propositions;
Address customer complaints and manage escalations;
Negotiate key contracts and annual renewals of licenses;
Manage account administration and actively provide input for accurate forecasting;
Keep current with industry trends and expand knowledge of legacy and novel beqom offerings.
Must have
5+ years combined experience across sales and consulting services
Proven track record of cultivating multi-layered relationships from C-suite to director, manager, and operational level, across multiple functions including business, IT, and procurement
Team player, who has experience with managing complex matrix account governance and implementing account management frameworks with proven results
Ability to develop and articulate a strong account vision and federate external / internal teams behind this to execute
Ability to articulate complex value propositions and benefits realised
Passion and enthusiasm for solving customers’ problems
Strong work ethic with the required sense of urgency towards customers’ needs
Organizational skills with the right amount of attention to detail
Self-starter / Self-motivator with little need for direct supervision
Proven consultative sales skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise solution ROI
Experience working in Financial Services or in Human Resources a plus
Experience selling to Financial Services or selling HR tech to enterprise clients a plus
