Katherine Porras has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Katherine started their career as an intern at Amadeus IT Group in 2007, where they focused on Sales & e-Commerce Platform (SEP) division. Katherine then worked as a Software Engineer at GFI Informatique, where they analyzed, designed, and developed data analysis tools. Katherine later became a Business Analyst at Genactis, where they managed market research studies for top pharmaceutical companies. Katherine then joined Amadeus as a Customer Implementation Engineer, responsible for implementing IT services for the travel industry. In 2012, they joined beqom as a Project Manager and progressed to roles including Customer Delivery Manager, Head of Customer Care, Head of Customer Success, and currently serves as Head of Account Management.

Katherine Porras has an impressive education history. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Business School Lausanne (BSL) where they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Business Strategy, specializing in Business Strategy. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, Katherine studied at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and earned a Master of Sciences and Technology degree in Computer Science, specializing in Digital and network systems. Their undergraduate studies took place from 2002 to 2005 at Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, where they earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science.

Additionally, Katherine Porras has obtained certifications in project management. In 2012, they achieved the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications from APMG-International.
