Dennis Hawthorne

Dennis Hawthorne is an accomplished leadership coach, trainer, and speaker currently serving at Maxwell Leadership since June 2023. With extensive experience in emergency management and preparedness, Dennis has held roles at Witt O'Brien's and as an instructor at Beshenich Muir & Associates. An independent consultant prior to 2023, Dennis provided critical analysis and recommendations for emergency management, notably regarding the Puerto Rican response to Hurricane Fiona. Notable previous positions include serving as a National Guard consultant to FEMA and various leadership roles within the Kentucky National Guard, where Dennis managed significant federal funds and led personnel operations. Educationally, Dennis holds a Master's of Strategic Studies from the Army War College, an MBA in Military Economics and Management from Trident University International, and a BA in History from Eastern Kentucky University.
