Sharon Alvarado

Sharon Alvarado has a diverse background in the media industry, starting with an internship at MTV Networks in 1991. Sharon then worked as a sales assistant and research analyst at VH-1 before joining E! Networks in 1998 as a manager of ad sales research. From 1999 to 2004, they served as the director of integrated ad sales research for E!, E! Online, Style., and Style.com. In 2004, they moved to Viacom Media Networks as the director, and later senior director, of ad sales research for Comedy Central and Spike TV. Sharon held various roles at Viacom before becoming the vice president of ad sales research for Comedy Central and Spike TV from 2008 to 2015. In 2016, they worked as a consultant for AMC Networks, Turner Broadcasting System, and then joined BET Networks as the vice president of audience analytics.

From 1988 to 1991, Sharon Alvarado studied at St. John's University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication and Media Studies.
