Shawn Swan has diverse work experience in various industries. Shawn started their career at Best Buy as a Home Theater Specialist, where they consistently exceeded sales goals. Shawn then worked at UPS as a Package Handler before joining State Farm as an Insurance Account Representative, where they managed a large client book and attracted new clients through aggressive marketing techniques. Shawn then moved to Career Education Corporation as a Student Account Processor, assisting students in finding financial aid options and managing a high volume of calls.

Shawn later joined FP Mailing Solutions as a Customer Account Specialist, building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and offering product demonstrations. Shawn then worked at Improv Comedy Club as part of the customer service team, handling ticket sales and coordinating event packages.

In 2016, they joined Uptake as part of the Customer Support team, resolving service tickets, testing and fixing the IoT application, and ensuring optimal performance. Shawn then worked at Yelp as an Account Executive, prospecting and vetting businesses for the targeted advertising program. Shawn also had roles as a Junior and Associate Account Executive at Yelp.

Shawn joined Hireology as a Customer Success Associate, working cross-functionally to provide support to SMB and enterprise clients, report bugs, and conduct implementation programs. Shawn then transitioned to an Associate Software QA Engineer role at Hireology, where they wrote and executed test plans, filed bug reports, and participated in sprint planning and retro sessions.

Currently, Shawn is working at Beyond as a Tech Support Analyst, utilizing their technical expertise to provide support. Shawn'swork experience demonstrates a strong background in customer service, sales, account management, and technical support across various industries.

Shawn Swan attended Glenbard North High School, although it is unclear when they started or completed their studies there. After high school, they pursued further education at the College of DuPage from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science.

In addition to their formal education, Shawn Swan also obtained additional certifications. In December 2022, they completed the "Learn SQL Course" at Codecademy. In January 2022, they obtained the "Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA" certification from LinkedIn.
