Madeline A. Abreu Lmsw

Madeline A. Abreu, LMSW, is a dedicated social worker with a strong background in behavioral health and community engagement. Currently employed at Union Health Center since September 2019, Madeline has also served as a licensed cycling instructor for Bike New York since April 2017, focusing on cycling education for youth and adults. Previously, Madeline practiced as a behavioral health clinician with Mental Health Service Corps and worked as an independent contractor providing quality control for secret shopping companies. During an internship at New York University's Silver School of Social Work, Madeline supported professional development initiatives and engaged with student groups. An earlier internship at Isabella Geriatric Center involved conducting psycho-social assessments and ensuring residents' emotional needs were met. Madeline holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from New York University, along with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Human Services from CUNY Bronx Community College.
