Elizabeth Hood has extensive work experience in data analysis and management. Elizabeth began their career in 2008 as a Unit/Facility Supervisor for Anheuser-Busch Companies. In 2012, they were an Undergraduate Research Fellow at George Mason University, where they assisted faculty members in collecting research and data on human trafficking in the U.S. Later that year, they joined D3 Systems, Inc. as a Research Analyst, where they provided support to research staff by preparing questionnaires, monitoring the survey process, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing reports. Elizabeth was promoted to Assistant Research Analyst in 2013. In 2016, they joined Westat as a Data Management, where they assisted in the development of specifications for programming survey instruments and managing survey data and metadata, from collection through delivery, for Westat's clients. In 2017, they joined BioInformatics Inc. as Manager, Quantitative Research and Senior Data Analyst.

Elizabeth Hood attended George Mason University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Global Affairs. Elizabeth then pursued an Undergraduate IT Certification at George Mason University from 2011 to 2012. In 2010, they studied abroad at Boğaziçi University, where they focused on Sociology.
