Eric Scott

Eric Scott has over 20 years of work experience in the field of quality assurance. Eric currently serves as the Sr. Director of Quality at bioMérieux, a position they have held since February 2024. Prior to this role, they were the Director of QA at bioMérieux from January 2022 to February 2024. Before joining bioMérieux, Eric worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC as the Director of Quality Assurance Reagents from December 2017 to December 2021. Eric also has experience at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Engineering Manager from June 2014 to December 2017, and as a Quality Engineer from February 2009 to June 2014. Prior to Teva Pharmaceuticals, Eric worked at GE Healthcare as a Quality Engineer from December 2006 to February 2009, at CR Bard as a Compliance Specialist from July 2005 to December 2006, and at BD as a Chemist from January 2001 to July 2005.

Eric Scott holds a Master of Science & Technology degree in Environmental Science from the University of Utah, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same university between 1998 and 2000. In addition to their academic degrees, Eric has certifications in Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Software Quality Engineer, and Six Sigma Green Belt, all obtained from ASQ - World Headquarters.
