Salvatore La China

Salvatore La China has extensive work experience in scientific research. Salvatore is currently working as the Lead Scientist at BIOWEG since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a PhD student at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia from November 2017 to September 2022. Salvatore also served as a Visiting PhD Student at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from January 2020 to April 2020. In addition, Salvatore worked as an Associate Research Fellow at Università di Pisa, Department of Biology from October 2016 to October 2017 and as a Research Fellow at St Petersburg State University from May 2016 to October 2016.

Salvatore La China has an extensive education history in the field of science and technology. Salvatore began their academic journey in 2005 at the Università di Pisa, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, graduating in 2010. Building upon this foundation, they went on to earn a Master's degree in Biology applied to Bio-Medicine from the same institution, completing their studies in 2014. In 2014, Salvatore further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a Master degree in Industrial Chemistry at the Università di Pisa, which they completed in 2015.

In 2017, Salvatore La China embarked on their highest level of education to date, enrolling at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Here, they focused on Food Science and Technology and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree, which they successfully completed in 2021. Salvatore's educational trajectory demonstrates their passion for scientific research and their commitment to advancing their knowledge and expertise in various fields related to biology, chemistry, and food science.
